It was almost unthinkable to visit the Kornati settlement without moving on the town terrace. Many of the teams enjoyed dinner right on the pier, the food was always simple but good!
The Konoba Robinson opposite led a black life over the years; there was often a feeling that boatmen only went there when there was no room left at the Ante.
Well, that has now fundamentally changed: four years ago, Ante Milutin took over the Konoba with a young, motivated team and renovated the entire operation.
Unlike its obvious neighbour’s menu design, creative variations of the traditional basic ingredients of fish, meat and vegetables have been used from the start.
In the first two years it was difficult to oppose the long tradition of the Ante, but in the end perseverance and the high quality of what was offered paid off. Friends and guests tell us that the quality of the food and wine is very good!
In terms of visitor numbers last year, both hotels were on the same level, this year it seems that there is a new top dog in Vrulje!
The price point is very ambitious, but the qualified boater now knows that his Kenneth In the’ Cornish going into the money.
