Previously Managing Director of Sustainable Development for the Air Liquide Group, David meneses has been appointed to the newly created position of Director of Sustainable Development at Plastic Omnium. In this capacity, he also becomes a member of the management committee of Plastic Omnium SE. In his new role, David Meneses reports to Laurent Favre, Managing Director of the Plastic Omnium group.
Aged 47, David Meneses is a graduate of the Paris School of Industrial Physics and Chemistry and holds a DEA in Process Engineering. In 1996, he began his career at Air Liquide in the field of research and development. In 1998, he was promoted to R&D project manager at Air Liquide. In 2002, he was appointed head of commercial development for Air Liquide. In 2005, he became Air Liquide’s special project manager, the same year he took over the direction of sales and marketing. In 2007, he held the position of Controller of Air Liquide’s planning and operations strategy. In 2010, he was appointed CEO of the Caribbean and Central America region of Air Liquide. In 2014, he became Chairman of Air Liquide’s industrial gases business in the United States. Since 2017, he was Vice President of Sustainable Development of the Air Liquide group.
