They are our colleagues from The group who disclosed the information: Florent Ghisolfi, currently serving for RC Lens, was borrowed to become the new sporting director of OGC Nice.
At the head of the Lensois sports project since his appointment as sports coordinator of the northern club in May 2019, Florent Ghisolfi was, with the coach Franck Haise, known in Lorient, the architect of the successful sports policy of Sang et Gold in the last three seasons.
A former professional player in Bastia, where he was captain, and in Reims, the footballer quickly became a manager, following the sudden end of his career in 2014, following serious knee injuries. Assistant coach to Olivier Guégan at the Stade de Reims in January 2016, he also passed through Lorient in 2017, where he joined the coaching staff of Mickaël Landreau, then head coach.
He later joined Lens as a sports coordinator and started a new collaboration with Franck Haise, with whom he has close contact in Brittany.
Inside the gym, Florent Ghisolfi will also find Fabrice Bocquet, the new general manager of the club, with whom he also worked in Lorient. In Nice it will therefore be the new sporty garmentwhere he will be in charge of the performance, of the recruitment, and will have the ability to make the changes he deems necessary for the effective functioning of the sporting part.
Currently under contract with Lens, where he has a permanent contract, Florent Ghisolfi will leave the northern club very soon after negotiating the conditions of his departure.
