Specialists from the National Cyber Security Incident Response Center (CERT-RO) are warning of a scam campaign targeting Dedeman.
“In recent days, users in Romania have received messages announcing that they have won a prize at the ‘Tombola’ DEDEMAN. For details, they were invited to access a link that redirected to a #phishing page, where they were to enter data personal or financial, in order to benefit from ‘gain.’
Dedeman posted an ad on its Facebook page on Wednesday warning that it does not run polls, online contests or other promotional campaigns.
“These are part of phishing attacks or other forms of computer fraud. Therefore, for your own safety, we recommend that you do not follow campaigns or messages of this type received on e-mail, Facebook, WhatsApp or other social networks and to you do not provide personal data or card data.
