When Motorola spun the Edge + in 2020 to produce premium smartphones, it was a big step forward. The phone, which lost the kiln in only a few respects to the competition, scored with a sophisticated stylish design, and it seems to have worked in some way, even though it was not a sales hit in our country. Motorola has gradually introduced the Edge series models, often not with such a straightforward exchange. And that’s a code, because with the Edge + type, the cheaper Edge type also hit the market at the time, which we think helped to define the class of premium smartphones on a medium basis.
With other models, the Motorola patc nskmu Lenova was a bit sought after. You love the Edge 20 For the Snapdragon 870 processor, instead of the most powerful 888, it features a sharp design with a curved display, which Edge first defined and, in our opinion, was one of the inspirations for the name of the phone. At the end of last year, however, Motorola introduced the Edge S30 and Edge X30 models, in which performance and equipment became important, the design would not return to the original concept. These bag models are not designed for the n market, so we had to repent of the new peak.
And ekn is over. Motorola has introduced the Edge 30 Pro smartphone, which is its first model with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor (among others) for European markets. It is basically a well-known and slightly modified Edge X30 model, which is intended for the Czech market. This means that it is not completely uncompromising, Motorola is moving in the same direction in this respect, the bag follows the original Edge model.
The steps are most visible in the area of the camera. Unlike most other top models, these Motorola models do not offer telephoto users, so the zoom is only digital. The main image has a resolution of 50 megapixels, complemented by a wide-angle lens with a resolution of 50 megapixels, which can also act as a macro lens. This camera, which we can see in the assemblies on the walls of the phone, is then only two megapixels and is used to collect data on the depth of field. eln fok then returns to high resolution, that’s exactly 60 megapixels. The argument for the Edge 30 Pro telephoto lens is that many users don’t need it, and Motorola prefers to focus on macro quality.
What you can get is the Edge 30 Pro 6.7-inch Full HD + display with AMOLED technology, 144 Hz refresh rate and integrated flow fingerprint. The battery has a capacity of 4,800 mAh, the battery will be able to charge with a power of 68 W, and Motorola did not take the charge out of the package. There is also a wireless charge (15 W).
It will be sold in Europe with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory, there is also a microSD card slot, where the user can choose whether to use a microSD card or a second SIM. Conversely, eSIM error support and water and dust resistance only meet the requirements of the IP52 specification. On the phone b Android 12 only with small rights from Motorola.
Proximity will be a possibility for Motorola Edge 30 Pro to buy a case with a stylus. The stylus is inserted into the slot on the back of the case, so the phone does not look into the door, however, it will still bother someone. While the Motorola Edge 30 Pro itself will go on sale in the coming days, at a price of 799 euros (Motorola has not announced a Czech episode yet, it should be about 20 thousand crowns), the additional stylus will be common to me sometime in the process.
In selected countries (again, we do not know whether there will be a Czech between them), the phone with a case and a pen will be offered in a special package with a fee of 50 euros (about 1,250 crowns), so the case with a pen will be about a little expensive. The Motorola Edge 30 Pro will be available in two colors: Cosmos Blue and Stardust White.
