It won’t be long before Qualcomm is likely to introduce the new Snapdragon 898 mobile processor, a more powerful successor to the 888 and 888+ variants. One of the last leaked films even records previous speculation that what kernels will this chipset get exactly. The main processor part should tick 1x Cortex-X2 (3 GHz) + 3x Cortex-A710 (2.5 GHz) + 4x Cortex-A510 (1.97 GHz). At least the frequencies are confirmed in the image. According to the record, the graphics chip will be the improved Adreno 730. The composition is almost clear and the current question is therefore: Who makes the first mobile phone with this strong man in the body?
Of course, we can expect the new flagship Galaxy phones to be launched with this equipment at the beginning of next year. But as has become a bit of a habit, at least with a presentation will probably catch up before the Korean Samsung get Chinese Xiaomi.
