The Škoda Octavia is traditionally popular with police forces, not only in the Czech Republic. Her new generation is also ready for service. At least in the UK.

The local representation of the Czech carmaker boasted that it could already offer the fourth version of the Octavia in a version suitable for the British police. As an example, it chose even the most powerful version of the RS (in Britain, the name vRS is well-known) with a supercharged two-liter petrol engine with an output of 180 kW.
This variant, in conjunction with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, can accelerate from standstill to 100 in 6.7 seconds.
The carmaker emphasizes that it is able to equip the car with an alarm device with LED technology, visible from all angles, and of course a three-tone police siren. It also highlights the bulky luggage for both body versions.

Special police equipment can then include an air-conditioned dog cage in the luggage compartment (in the case of a station wagon) or a camera system with automatic registration plate recognition.
Škoda also boasts comfort and technological features, such as heated front seats, a digital instrument panel, LED Matrix headlights, wireless phone charging or infotainment with a 10-inch touch screen.
The Octavia is not the only model that Škoda offers to British police officers and other components of the local rescue system. Other cars are also available, as you can see in the gallery.
