The electric version of the Renault Megane, bearing the designation E-Tech was introduced last year, but earlier today the French company revealed more information about the technologies used in the car and in particular, the displays that can be found in the interior.
There are two displays, horizontal in front of the driver and vertical in the middle of the dashboard, which are separated by a small air duct between them. The first one has a diagonal of 12.3 inches and shows all the necessary information to the driver right in front of him, while the one in the center has a diagonal of 12 inches and takes care of all car systems and can be used to change different Settings.
It is the work of Continental and boasts a Gorilla glass display, resistant to scratches and stronger impacts for at least 15 years. In addition to strength, Renault also boasts the exceptional quality of the TFT matrix, which has 267ppi. By comparison, Apple’s latest iPad has a resolution of 264ppi.
The infotainment system uses the Android operating system, while also supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a Qualcomm processor takes care of the good and smooth operation of both screens.
