The Touring package proved to be popular in the last generation Porsche 911 GT3. And so the carmaker will offer it for the current 911 GT3.

The Porsche 911 has been one of the most versatile sports cars for years, mainly due to the wide range of derivatives targeting a different type of clientele. Three body variants (coupe, convertible and targa) complement various performance levels, inclusive of the top Turbo S competing with supersports or maybe circuit-oriented version of GT3. And it is this that is newly available with the Touring package.
The carmaker has offered this since 2017 for the last generation 911 GT3, for which it proved to be very popular, so this package is now also available for the current 911 GT3. Specifically, it targets customers who love the atmospheric 911 GT3 engine, but would like a car more focused on ordinary roads.

The elements of the package are directly related to the predecessor. This means that the hallmark of the Touring version is the automatically retractable spoiler at the rear, which replaces the fixed wing of the default GT3. This required further stylistic adjustments to the back, such as aluminum moldings around the windows or the Touring sign on the back.
The GT3 engine in the form of a four-liter atmospheric six-cylinder boxer with an output of 375 kW can then again be paired with a six-speed manual, which is another key element of the Touring design. Unlike the previous generation, however, it will also be possible to order a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission for this package.

According to Porsche, the interior evokes the atmosphere of a classic sports car. Specifically, the 911 GT3 Touring uses black leather details and brushed dark aluminum trim.
Virtually all optional extras are also available as with the default 911 GT3. There is a rich offer of body paints, various assistance systems, dynamic LED headlights, ceramic brakes or lifting the front axle.
The Touring package will not only impress customers with its purism, but also with the fact that it is available on request, at no additional charge. The prices of the default 911 GT3 on the Czech market start at CZK 4,606,000.
The Touring designation is not a novelty of the latest generations in the Porsche 911 range. Already in the 1973 model year, the company offered it as an equipment level for the 911 Carrera RS.
