The game freaks are eagerly waiting for the new Playstation 5, which should only come on the market in the lucrative Christmas business at the end of 2020. But Sony has now presented the controller of the upcoming game console in advance – as a small bite, so to speak.
In a blog post, gaming friends were able to get a first look at the futuristic-looking joystick called “Dualsense Wireless Controller”. This is kept in a simple black and white design and is now passed on to the programmers. They should integrate the new features of the device into the development of the games.
“Haptic feedback” in a new league
Because especially the sense of touch of the new Sony controller supposedly outshines the devices of the competition. And with the “haptic feedback” he should play in a new league. It shakes, presses and rumbles everything more. When driving, for example, the player should get an amazingly real feeling like driving a car through mud. And when tensioning an arch, a significantly higher pressure can be felt in the console, according to Sony.
Another interesting feature of the dual sense wireless controller is the built-in microphone. This allows the user to speak to other players even without a headset. The so-called “Create” button is also new. Sony promises that players can use it to create “epic gameplay content.” However, the Japanese do not reveal more details. The only thing missing now is the “Brain”, the new Playstation 5. Sony boss Jim Ryan promises: It will definitely come at Christmas.
