In the Discovery of the Year category, Tereza Balonová dominated both November’s Nightingales and March’s Angels with her album Lanterns. Now she is releasing a new music video and it seems that she deserves the “speedster of the year” award. It is said that she wrote the song Myšlenka in just one evening! “The creation of the song Myšlenka is exactly the case of creation, when you feel that everything comes about as if by chance and by itself,” rejoiced Tereza, who sang a duet with her Slovak colleague Adam Ďurica (36).
He added another part of the text to it, and the song received its final form within a week. And why Adam? “He was definitely my first choice. I really like his work for a long time. Plus, he’s a nice guy. I’m glad that he agreed without hesitation,” explained Tereza. It seems that the sympathies of the performers are mutual, and Ďurica is also excited about the collaboration.
“I’ve been aware of Teresa since her first album. I have to say that I have always liked artists who have strong energy, sing beautifully, can write a good song and also play a musical instrument very well. Tereza is exactly this case and I am happy to be part of her musical journey. When I first heard the song Myšlenka, I liked it very much and immediately agreed to a joint duet,” added the Slovak singer.
However, Tereza is not a complete newcomer to the music scene. The native of Prague has collaborated with the bands Jelen and Divokej Bill, and performed with David Koller. And on May 13, he will have a solo concert in Prague’s Lucerna Music Bar.
