The new Opel Corsa wins the “Best New Design of 2023” award. with the vote of more than 14,500 readers of the German automotive publication Auto motor und sport, who voted for the new model in the small car category. The new Opel Corsa won the Autonis Design Award with a majority of 53.7% of the votes in the Small Car category.
The combination of state-of-the-art technology and daring design convinced the readers of the publication Auto motor und sport of the advantages of the new Opel Corsa. For the 18th time, they voted online and chose their favorites in automotive design among 105 new models in 11 classes.

With its new look featuring the signature Opel Vizor front end and fully digital cockpit, the new Opel Corsa is the best looking in its market segment. The Opel brand wins this award for the second time in a row, as last year the Opel Rocks Electric won the award in the Mini Car category with a similarly convincing result.
“The new Opel Corsa is boldly designed and stripped of superfluous interior and exterior details, combining functionality and driving pleasure while evoking emotions. The model is fully electric and gives a big boost to our electrification offensive. We at Opel are very delighted by the readers’ vote,” said Harald Hamprecht, Opel’s vice president of communications, who accepted the award from Jens Drale, head of testing and technology at the prestigious automotive publication Auto motor und sport, during the award ceremony in Stuttgart.

The new Opel Corsa recently celebrated its world premiere at the IAA Mobility motor show in Munich and made a strong impression on visitors with its bold design. The new electric Opel Corsa Electric is available in two power levels with 136 hp. and an autonomous range of up to 354 km, as well as with 156 hp. and up to 402 km of emission-free driving according to the WLTP.

The designers from Rüsselsheim have made the bestseller of small cars look even more original and modern. The new Opel Corsa has the signature front end for all new Opel models, called the Vizor. The black Vizor integrates the grille, the LED headlights on the sides and the Opel logo in the center into one common visual element.
In the profile of the Corsa, the cut C-pillar creates the impression of a dynamic and sporty appearance of the car. The Corsa model name is placed confidently in the center of the trunk lid. The interior guarantees a pleasant and modern atmosphere. A visual and technical highlight is the optional fully digital cockpit with a new infotainment system.
