The sixth generation Opel Astra has arrived in Romania and can be ordered in both the hatchback version and the sports Tourer station wagon. Customers also have a plug-in hybrid version of 180 hp. There are also five equipment variants: Astra, Edition, Elegance, GS Line and Ultimate.
The new Astra was launched this summer, while the Sports Tourer debuted just three weeks ago.
Opel Astra: prices from 19,500 euros with VAT
The range of engines available to customers in our country includes petrol, diesel and one versions plug-in hybrid. A 1.2-liter petrol engine with 110 hp and 130 hp is available. It can be paired with either a manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The offer also includes a 1.5-liter diesel with 130 hp. And it can be ordered with a manual or automatic transmission. The only plug-in hybrid variant on offer is the one consisting of a 1.6-liter petrol engine and an electric one. The total power thus reaches 180 “horses”.
The Russelsheim manufacturer has announced that it will be introduced in the range from next year or PHEV version of 225 hp.
The entry-level model of the new Opel Astra starts on the Romanian market from 19,500 euros with VAT. It comes with Astra equipment and has a 1.2-liter petrol engine with 110 hp.
The most affordable diesel version of the new Astra has a catalog price of 22,300 euros including VAT, in the Edition equipment. The same equipment is for the hybrid model, which starts at 33,080 euros with VAT.
Astra Sports Tourer variant in the equipment version Astra and with a 1.2 liter engine and 110 “horses” has in Romania a starting price of 20,340 euros including VAT.
