The new Mayrand Alimentation has just opened its doors in Brossard

The retailer in Food Mayrand, Costco competitor, made the announcement last year, but it’s now official; its new Brossard branch has just opened its doors and it’s worth the detour.

The Mayrand company, 100% Quebec since 1914, is positioned as a mix between classic supermarkets and Costco and finally set foot on the South Shore.

The branch, headquartered in Anjou, Montreal, moved to Mail Champlain on July 15, where the former Sears was located.

The mayor of the city of Brossard, Doreen Assaad, was also present to cut the red ribbon.

More than 10,000 products are offered at this Brossard branch, including more than 1,000 from Quebec.

On the other hand, unlike the American, you can buy and enter freely without a membership card.

Across the aisles, there is a plethora of local and international products, whether on the butcher’s side, fruit and vegetables, fishmongers, cold meats or cheese.

On its website, the company claims to have nearly 15,000 products, mainly at its Anjou branch.

Moreover, it is possible to do its market online.

Sure on the Facebook page, Mayrand Alimentation states that due to the circumstances surrounding the containment linked to COVID-19, its third branch “will be opened soon” in Laval.

It was also scheduled for last spring. “We have work to finalize,” we can read.

Mayrand Laval, for its part, will be located at 3615, Jean-Noël-Lavoie highway.

Who says next store opening says jobs to fill. That’s good, since many posts are available at the Laval branch.

Managers, assistant managers, butchers, cashiers, e-commerce expedition manager, clerk: everything is there. Choosing a job is like choosing the products offered; there are some.
