On Apple computers, there is usually nothing to think about, because their configuration options have so far been so limited that thinking about the cores was a waste of time. Everything that was supposed to work worked – it was just faster on one computer, slower on the other. And it was not really known what is the cause and what the effect here: whether the users have no knowledge, because Apple treats them like fools, or Apple treats users like fools, because they do not have knowledge.
