The new logistics startup WeDo replaces In Time and Uloženka

On Monday, November 2, a new logistics operator started operations on the Czech market WeDo. The company was created by the transformation of the companies In Time and Uloženka, which also disappear with this step.

In Time last year, three investment companies bought together – PPF Peter Kellner, EC Investments Daniel Křetínský a Rockaway Jakub Havrlant. The deposit was bought by InTime in March this year. Both companies are being replaced by the startup WeDo, which will lead Daniel Mareš, former CEO of In Time. Startup targets mainly end customers of e-shops, which it intends to address through convenient and timely delivery.

“The trend in the market of logistics operator services in recent years is clearly aimed at focusing on the consignee. We want to meet his needs and the overall design of the service we are building will correspond to this. The goal of WeDo is to be the customer – the recipient of the shipment, who will manage the entire process and decide when, where and how the shipment will be delivered, “comments Mareš.

The company currently delivers home and to dispensaries, but at the beginning of next year it also plans to start delivering to self-service dispensing boxes, about 100 of which are to be gradually put into operation.

“The key for us is the maximum focus on the end customer, which is why we do our business. Together with senders, such as e-shops, we put the customer at the center of attention. This means that he will have full control over delivery and choose from a wide range of services, such as changing delivery, joining shipments and more, all easily from a mobile phone, ”adds Mareš.
