After more than 45 years in the profession, it is getting really strange for viewers not to see Pedro Piqueras sitting in the Telecinco News set.
His seat is now occupied by Carlos Franganillo, who starred in one of the most notable movements when he moved from RTVE to Mediaset. And, now, Piqueras is doing what could be bought with an interview tour, visits to different programs, events and award ceremonies.
Specifically, at the presentation of the poster for the San Isidro Fair in Madrid, he spoke about what has changed his day-to-day life: “I couldn’t get sick on television because I had to be there every day.”
Too much intensity for a retirement: the new life of Pedro Piqueras
«It’s a bit of a stress blow, it’s because it’s one thing one day, another day, another. Managing your own agenda is a bit complicated…” says one of the best-known faces on our TV.
He is enjoying this first stage of his retirement, there is no doubt about that, but he is looking forward to all these commitments being over. “so he can think” about what he wants to do “when he grows up”he said with his sense of humor.
In addition, so much intensity is also affecting his health: «All day collecting awards or in an interview or program, I haven’t stopped. Today I have a little fever too«.
«I guess this will subside at some point and now we have to enjoy it and especially because Many people do it with their hearts and this is appreciated.«he says in gratitude.
