It was yesterday, November 6, exactly five years ago that Hanne Verbruggen, Marthe De Pillecyn and Klaasje Meijer were chosen as the new K3. That was done via the VTM program K3 is looking for K3, in which Niels Destadsbader and Gerard Joling were allowed to announce the successors of Kristel Verbeke, Karen Damen and Josje Huisman on the final evening.

The three young ladies did not have much time to celebrate, however, as they were busy rehearsing for the presentation of their new CD. Dance of the Pharaoh, Next Friday. That performance will immediately be K3’s very first performance since February. That will be the real birthday party, but Studio 100 already provided a small gift for Hanne, Marthe and Klaasje yesterday. In between their rehearsals they were treated to cake and bubbles.
