However, like the tougher wrangler, it will offer exclusively a plug-in hybrid system, which is the most powerful option for Americans.

The plug-in hybrid marked 4xe is basically the same as offered by the Jeep Wrangler 4xe – it combines a two-liter petrol four-cylinder with 272 hp with two electric motors for a total system power of 381 hp and 637 Nm.

Its battery has a capacity of 17 kWh and the car will run up to 51 km (according to American standards it is 40 km). The combined consumption according to the WLTP standard should be 2.6 l / 100 km + 25 kWh / 100 km (according to American standards it is 4.1 l / 100 km) and due to CO2 emissions of 62 g / km the car in the Czech Republic will not reach the “electromobile” registration marks.

This system is a permanent all-wheel drive with self-locking rear differential, reduction gear, the ability to disengage the front anti-roll bar and also disengage the front axle drive to reduce fuel consumption when the electronics find that it is not needed.

The car will also have Quadra-Lift air suspension, capable of increasing ground clearance up to 28.7 cm and thus wading up to 61 cm. The Italian website already offers ordering a “grand” in the introductory edition, at a price of 94 thousand euros, ie 2.29 million crowns.
