The iPad Pro would still arrive this year but would have very limited stocks. Apple’s new tablet would suffer the consequences of the global shortage.
The global shortage has brought the entire tech industry under control. Doubts have been raised as to whether or not some products will finally arrive due to this shortage. This was the case with the iPad Pro, which was in the air, but it seems that even with everything will happen.
Or at least said Bloomberg, which specifies that this year we will continue to have the iPad Pro on the market but with certain problems of shortages. The portal claims that Apple’s suppliers are having problems with the low production speeds of its new Mini LED displays.
Remember that this kind of screen is the one that will mount the iPad Pro this year, especially in the 12.9-inch model. The problem has become so serious that, according to Bloomberg, one of the suppliers has stopped production.
Problems with iPad Pro
Asian media last week warned that iPad production was suffering from the general component shortage in the industry. He didn’t specify any models, but said the problem was with the displays and their derived components.
Mark Gurman, journalist specializing in Apple, explains that his sources assure that the new iPad Pro will be presented at the end of April, despite the problem of shortage. Apple would set a later release date for the iPad Pro, as the smaller model wouldn’t include this new display technology.
On the other hand, these new iPad Pros would feature processors with similar power to the M1 chip found in current MacBooks, as well as better cameras and higher capacity USB-C ports. There is no specific date for the arrival of these iPads, but all of these rumors confirm that even with all the problems facing the industry, Apple’s new tablet would eventually arrive.
However, it remains to be seen not only the availability of this new iPad Pro in the future but also its price. It could get more expensive considering all these improvements, especially with the inclusion of the Mini-LED panel and limited production could come to influence the cost. It depends if the shortage also causes speculation about the new iPad Pro in the end.
