After a series of photos and videos of the new hybrid technology that Mercedes will use in its most powerful AMG models, here is the first production car was presented. Mercedes AMG GT 63 E Performance is the most refined version of the four-door coupe, which generates 830 horsepower and 1400 Newton meters of torque.
Power, as we have told you several times, is provided by a 4.0-liter gasoline flavor in combination with an electric motor mounted on the rear axle. Along with them works a starter-generator, which adds another 14 horsepower.
–Thanks to this configuration, the AMG GT 63 E Performance accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in just 2.9 seconds, and top speed is limited to 316 km / h. According to the factory data, the fuel consumption is about 8.6 l / 100 km.

The battery has a capacity of 6.1 kWh, which in turn allows a low weight of 89 kg, and 3.7 kW charger is available for fast charging. The electric mileage is about 12 kilometers. The battery also uses a special coolant that collects about 14 liters and allows us to maintain the optimum temperature of about 45 degrees.

Unlike the standard AMG GT63, the E Performance has seven operating modes, including Electric, Sport, Sport +, Comfort, Race, Slippery, and as standard all cars come with adaptive air suspension and carbo-ceramic brakes.

Externally, you can guess the hybrid version of the charging door on the rear bumper and markings. Lighter wheels 20 and 21 inch sizes are also available. In the interior, the differences are mainly in the graphics of the infotainment system and some of the functions related to the hybrid configuration.
