Skoda Kodiaq is presented in a new updated version, after four years from the launch of the SUV offensive of the brand, the House submits to restyling its first large SUV that has achieved great worldwide success.
Skoda develops and optimizes the emotional design of the Kodiaq for aerodynamics, also available with seven seats on request. For the first time, innovative full LED Matrix headlights are offered. The top-of-the-range RS sports model, in addition to an additional specific aesthetic treatment, is now equipped with a new, more powerful TSI engine. Starting July 2021 Kodiaq will be available in Active, Ambition and Style, L&K, SPORTLINE and RS versions.
The new front features a higher bonnet and a redesigned grille and gives the SUV a mighty presence on the road. For the first time, the car boasts Matrix LED headlights and full LED headlights as standard. New alloy wheels up to 20 inches underline the dynamic look. The special aerodynamic rims have also been included, the front and rear bumpers have been redesigned and a new rear spoiler in shiny glossy black has been added which, together with the side fins next to the rear window, reduce aerodynamic drag. Kodiaq RS now has a specific front bumper from dynamic design.

Skoda gives its successful Kodiaq SUV an even more impactful look, in fact, important and accurate aesthetic changes have been made by the Bohemian House, optimizing aerodynamics at the same time. The higher engine hood shows a vigorous design and the new Skoda grille, which today is more vertical, gives the model a mighty presence on the road, that you like.
With the Active, Ambition and Style versions, the aluminum-look inserts on the front and rear bumpers emphasize off-road aesthetics. The standard LED headlights, which on request can also be fitted with full LED Matrix technology, have a much slimmer shape and, together with the new arrangement of the fog lights, ensure a more incisive aesthetic impact.
Skoda has decided to equip the new Kodiaq SUV with new alloy wheels up to 20 inches in diameter. From July 2021 onwards, the car will be available in Ambition, Executive and Style versions, as well as L&K, SportLine and RS.
The interior is even more comfortable
Great qualitative leap to the interior of its large SUV thanks to the innovations introduced by the House. In fact, new decorative inserts have been added, additional contrasting stitching on the dashboard and on the door panels, on request it is also possible to add a third pull-out sofa, which allows the car to accommodate up to 7 people. For front passengers, for the first time they can be requested ergonomic seats with ventilation and massage function, which offer various possibilities for electrical adjustment. The seats are upholstered in perforated leather and can be heated and ventilated. Ambient LED lighting offers extended functions for unprecedented on-board comfort.
Skoda Kodiaq 2021: connectivity and modern infotainment

The new engines of the Skoda Kodiaq SUV: two diesel and three petrol generation EVO
The new generation of Skoda Kodiaq is provided by the House of modern and efficient engines which belong to the new EVO generation. These are two diesel and three petrol models, covering a power range between 150 hp (110 kW) and 245 hp (180 kW).
Both versions Dieselthanks to a very sophisticated and precise exhaust gas post-treatment, which uses the “twin dosing” principle, they produce up to 80% less nitrogen oxide (NOx). The 2.0 TSI petrol Kodiaq RS is used for its very first time in the big successful SUV of the Czech House. The 1.5 TSI access powertrain is the only variant combined with a 6-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive only. For all other versions the 7-speed DSG gearbox is standard; From an output of 190 hp (140 kW), all-wheel drive is standard equipment.

The top-of-the-range sports model is the RS version which, in addition to the improved aesthetics, is now equipped with a new engine. The 2.0 petrol TSI comes from the Volkswagen Group’s EVO generation and develops a power of 245 hp (180 kW), which is 5 hp (4 kW) more powerful than the twin-turbo diesel engine that has been used so far, weighing over 60 kg less. Together with the new 7-speed DSG gearbox which weighs 5.2 kg less, the performance of the engine has been improved. The Volkswagen Group’s new generation of EVO engines also includes the other two petrol engines, the 1.5 TSI with 150 bhp (110 kW) and the 2.0 TSI with 190 bhp (140 kW), as well as the 2.0 TDI with 150 bhp (110 kW). kW) and 200 hp (147 kW).
The RS version of the SUV delivers more power and less weight, is the top of the range sports model, which further improves the performance of the SUV. With high-gloss black body inserts and new 20-inch Sagitarius alloy wheels, it is recognizable at first glance as a member of Skoda’s RS family. The sporty SUV now features full LED Matrix headlights as standard.
