New heavy gear at the top of Lombard healthcare. After eight months driving the Directorate-General for Welfare of the Lombardy Region Marco trivelli Sara replaced by Giovanni Pavesi.

Trivelli had arrived to fill that position in the midst of the health emergency, when the department was headed by Giulio Gallera, and replaced Luigi Cajazzo. Now the new decision arrived with the reshuffle of the Executive that led Letizia Moratti to lead the councilorship.
The new Dg Giovanni Pavesi, says his biography, is an expert in health management, boasts a fruitful collaboration with the Bocconi University of Milan-Cergas Sda, Center for research and management of health and social assistance, in particular in the management of companies health care in times of crisis and governance models for health procurement. He is also a member of the Bocconi Network which brings together about forty of the best general managers of healthcare companies in Italy. The Network compares itself on a regular basis by sharing best practices regarding the strategies, organization, management and technology of healthcare companies.
On the future use of Trivelli the Region explains that “The proposal for the appointment of Dr. Marco Trivelli as general manager of Asst Brianza will be submitted to the attention of the next Lombardy regional council”.
