President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said the results of the calculation new fuel oil price (BBM) it will be delivered to him today. A number of ministers have previously reviewed the calculation of the prices of subsidized fuels such as Pertalite and diesel.
“For the fuel (price) everything is still being calculated and today I will be notified regarding the calculations and calculations,” said Jokowi in the Tanimbar Islands on Friday (9/02/2022).
Jokowi said the public has started receiving direct cash assistance (BLT) for fuel subsidies of Rp 600,000 for 4 months. He hopes this BLT BBM can maintain people’s purchasing power in the midst of rising fuel prices.

“It was delivered for the next 2 months, yes it was presented to the Regency of Tanimbar Islands, Maluku province, in Saumlaki, yes, and we hope that with this BLT fuel injection, people’s purchasing power can be well maintained, “explained Jokowi.
Previously, Jokowi had also distributed BLT BBM since Aug 31, 2022 at the Jayapura Regency Post Office. Distribution will take place in stages through the Post Office.
The number of recipients of BLT BBM is approximately 20.6 million people. Jokowi hopes this BLT BBM will facilitate public spending.
“So that people’s purchasing power can improve public consumption. In addition to providing BLT BBM, 20.6 million beneficiaries also receive fuel subsidies for workers. Also in the amount of Rp 600 thousand for about 16 millions of workers, “he concluded.
