On March 14, Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 95, which changed the rules for issuing preferential loans for young Belarusians under the age of 31. At the time of writing the news, the law itself had not been published.
We are talking about lending for purchases of household goods. According to the new law, the maximum amount was increased from 5.5 thousand rubles to 12.2 thousand rubles.
The law also introduced changes to the assortment for the purchase of which young Belarusians could apply for a preferential loan. The presidential press service reported that it now includes all Belarusian-made goods.
Which of the Belarusian youth has the right to forgive a soft loan?
The new law states that the following people have the right to apply for a soft loan:
- Vocational school graduates who independently went to work in rural areas;
- Those who voluntarily entered military service under a contract.
Moreover, such Belarusians must work in government organizations where the state’s share of ownership is 50% or more.
At the same time, if the recipient of the loan does not fulfill the mandatory distribution, his interest will be recalculated from preferential to standard.
Earlier, Telegraf wrote that Belarusbank announced a reduction in mortgage rates for Belarusians who are in line to improve their living conditions. New rates on the Mortgage Express loan will take effect from Wednesday, February 14, 2024.
