Dacia Duster was again surprised in tests on Romanian roads. The public launch of the third generation of the domestic SUV attracted the attention of those who will be able to purchase the new car from the beginning of next year.
Dacia launched the new generation of the Duster SUV, a model that will introduce a new design, inspired by the Bigster concept. The third generation of the Romanian SUV should reach the market during next year, but until then, the manufacturer is in charge of the testing phase of the new model.
The tests for the new generation Dacia Duster are also taking place on the territory of our country and, thanks to the photos posted on Facebook, we have the opportunity to see the Dacia Duster 3 again on Romanian lands, be it under camouflage. In the images posted on Facebook, we can see a copy of Duster 3 captured while it was being driven on the highway, most likely on the A1 Bucharest – Pitesti.
The new Duster will have a completely different design line from the current generation. The new model has a more robust look with straight lines and more angular wheel arches. The optical blocks seem to be inspired by the Bigster concept, given their shape.
The new Dacia Duster will also be the first Dacia model, since the original 1100, to have disc brakes on the rear axle. It also looks like Dacia will drop diesel engines for the Duster. The new SUV would receive a hybrid propulsion system, which means that it will be the second hybrid model in the Dacia range, after the Jogger. The third hybrid in the Dacia range will be the Bigster SUV, to be launched in 2025.
