The new customer service center of Latvijas Banka will be equipped with ATMs for exchanging money

One of the novelties that could be of interest to every citizen of Latvia is that the current customer service center of Latvijas Banka will now be located in Pārdaugava, 3 Bezdelīgu street, replacing the previous center in 1B K. Valdemāra street.

In person, the Bank of Latvia MCC is used for four reasons:

  • exchange the remaining lats and cents into euros;
  • receive jubilee coins purchased on the Internet;
  • deliver damaged and suspicious banknotes;
  • Exchange the collected euro coins for higher denomination banknotes.

Using the latest service has now become more convenient, as special machines for counting euro coins will be located in the new customer center. Inside them it will be possible to deposit previously collected euro and cent coins, which will be transferred to the customer’s private account within a few minutes. The new equipment will make it possible to automate and speed up this process. Thanks to the implemented instant payments, the collected money can be transferred to the account quickly.

Before trading coins, it is advisable to create your user account on the website siknauda.bank.lv, where you will need to specify your bank account. A user will be created that can also be used for future money exchanges. This profile can also be created locally at the bank. Of course, don’t forget an identity document to be able to verify the customer’s identity.
