Responsible beauty
The guiding principle of this new address, responsible beauty is present at all levels at 45 rue Vieille du Temple. Indeed, each material has been carefully chosen with respect for people and the planet. The floor is made from recycled marble scraps, then poured in resin. The worktops and displays are in Krion K-Life, an element capable of purifying the air in contact with light. The beech wood on the walls comes from fair trade forests. The lamps are 100% LED to optimize energy consumption. The digital screens, presenting the care manufacturing processes, are eco-labeled. There is even a clever bin to deposit its packaging of finished products, so that they are recycled.
Finally, keen to transmit its values of commitment, Clarins had the idea of installing a botanical counter, with an educational herbarium, to raise awareness of nature conservation. Visible from the street, it presents a selection of plant extracts, among the 208 used (40% organic in 2021, and 80% by 2025) by the House, which enter into the composition of the care. Each jar is thus stamped with a QR code that you just need to flash to learn more about the chosen plant. Like sunflower, which can be found in the Extra-Firming range.
