mobilinanews (Jakarta) – BMW Group Indonesia officially launched two new cars, namely The new BMW M3 and the latest generation BMW M4 Coupe virtually, Wednesday (30/6/2021).
The 6th generation of the legendary model was introduced with an expressive exterior design, to a new interior with the best premium materials, to strengthen BMW’s position as a sports vehicle manufacturer in Indonesia.
Director of Communications BMW Group Indonesia, Jodie O’tania said this car was much awaited because it was legendary. For nearly five decades, the BMW M has been a symbol for high-performance sports vehicles with an emotional design that has written a success story in motorsport championships.
“The latest BMW M3 and BMW M4 Coupe apply racing car technology from the circuit to the road, and thousands of laps at the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife present the best sports car icon from the road version of BMW,” said Jodie, Wednesday (30/7/2021).
Both cars are equipped with an in-line 6-cylinder engine with BMW M TwinPower Turbo Technology with fantastic engine performance of up to 510 hp which is channeled to the rear wheels through an 8-speed BMW M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic.
The engine that powers the new BMW M3 and BMW M4 Coupé is capable of producing a peak torque of 650 Nm from 2,750 to 5,500 rpm. A maximum output of 510 hp is available at 6,250 rpm with a red-line at 7,200 rpm.
With powerful engines, the new BMW M3 and the new BMW M4 Coupé are able to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. To reach 200 km / h, it only takes 12.5 seconds. It is even more special with an exhaust system equipped with electronic-flaps that provide a variety of sounds.
Both of the latest BMW M sports cars can be obtained at an official BMW dealer. The new BMW M3 is offered at a price of IDR 2,059 billion off the road. Meanwhile, the new BMW M4 Coupé will be priced at IDR 2,119 billion off-the-road.
While the Individual variant has a different price, The new BMW M3 Individual will be offered at a price of IDR 2,599 billion and the BMW M4 Coupé Individual will be sold at a price of IDR 2,659 billion off the road. (elk)
