The new application replaces 15 messengers with one

Erik Mihikovski, the founder of smart watch maker Pebble, announced the launch of a new Beeper service, which brings together a dozen and a half messengers – including WhatsApp, Telegram, Twitter, Slack and Skype – under one interface. The aggregator works by subscription – it can be connected for $ 10 per month.

The Beeper app is available on macOS, Windows, Linux‍, iOS and Android. According to the author of the project, the service “through a couple of tricks” allows you to correspond in iMessage (“Messages”) even on Android devices. For this, the Mac acts as a bridge, which is always connected to the Internet. If the user doesn’t have an Apple computer, Migikowski said, the company is ready to send him a jailbroken iPhone 4s with the Beeper app.

To synchronize chats, the open Matrix protocol is used, with the help of which bridges are created between different messengers. Beeper is integrated with WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Instagram, SMS messaging on Android and iMessage, Telegram, Twitter, Slack, Hangouts, Skype, IRC, Discord, Signal, Matrix and the Beeper network. They promise to add support for new services every few weeks.

Beeper app collects all messages in one inbox. Users can search all chats at once, combine messages into groups, create archives and reminders.

So far, Beeper is available by invitation only. The application for participation can be left on the project website by filling out the form.
