The new Apple TV 4K adds HDR10 +, increases virtual storage, and only keeps Ethernet on the more expensive model.
Price new models $ 129 64GB of storage and Wi-Fi o $ 149 128GB of memory and Ethernet port. Previous models started at $ 179 for a 32GB model. Both new models run on the A15 Bionic chip, which is the chip that powers Apple’s iPhone 13 line. This will bring speed and responsiveness to gamers on their Apple TV. It will also enable the new HDR10 + output option, along with existing traditional audio combinations of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos 7.1 and 5.1.

Apple sticks to the much improved silver aluminum remote control design, which is easier to use and place on the sofa than the previous black glass touchpad model. This third generation remote comes with USB-C, which replaces the previous model’s Lightning connector. Unfortunately, Apple hasn’t implemented Find My on the remote nor does it provide a way for the remote to make a sound to help locate it.
Notably, the two Apple TV 4K offerings have some notable differences beyond storage. The more expensive model only offers an Ethernet port, which is the only one that acts as a border router. smart home accessories theme.
