More bus service improvements
For its part, the line 628which connects the neighborhood of El Cantizal with Madrid (Moncloa), extends its expeditions in the early hours of the morning until 9 and the line 622 Some of its timetables will be modified during the summer season (from 16 July to 31 August).
These improvements add to those that have been implemented in recent months in the Las Rozas bus service. Thus, since last November the night bus N903 extended its route when it left Madrid at 00:30 to reach the Las Matas neighborhood on Fridays, Saturdays and the day before national holidays.
Two other bus lines serving Las Rozas, the lines 620 and L2, have changed their trajectory to improve coverage within the city. In the case of line 620, which reaches the Puerta de Hierro Hospital, it has modified its route to serve the Los Castillos area and, in the direction of Las Matas, it has added a stop at Cuesta de San Francisco – Plaza de Madrid.
The L2, one of the town’s urban lines, which connects the neighborhood of La Marazuela with that of Las Matas, has changed its route with the aim of paying more attention to the El Montecillo area. Other changes were added to these changes, such as the creation of two new stops in via Acanto for lines 626 and L2.
“We know that public transport and the connection with Madrid and with the municipalities in the area are some of the great demands and needs of our neighbours. That is why we continue to work and ask for improvements from the Community of Madrid to continue improving our municipality”, concluded the councilor
