If there’s one person who definitely understands the task of this year’s Met Gala, it’s Blake Lively.
The actress, who co-chaired the event with her husband Ryan Reynolds, demonstrated not just one, but two amazing visions on the red carpet on Monday night.
A little information for all those who are unfamiliar: Blake and Ryan have previously appeared on the “Metropolitan” with perfectly coordinated outfits that embody each annual theme.
But for the past few years, the couple has missed out on this prestigious event, including the last one last September. So this year, fans were happy to learn that Blake and Ryan have co-chaired the event with Anna Wintour herself to help organize it. This year’s theme was “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,” also known as gilded glitter and a white tie.
Of course, the fans were even happier when the couple really returned to the iconic carpet.
Here, however, the outfit with which Blake appeared is important. Initially, she posed in a honey-colored evening gown and diamond earrings. Then three assistants went to her to unfold the train of her dress. She took on a completely different second look from below, moving to a stunning green fabric, and she even changed her original copper gloves to new green ones.
