Even an old Russian sedan can turn into an all-terrain vehicle.
For Russian road conditions, only SUVs are suitable, since no other car is able to overcome obstacles without damaging the body or suspension. Therefore, the Russians endow old obsolete cars with a special body kit that allows cars to drive over rough terrain without any problems.
These include the GAZ-3102, adapted for off-road use, a photograph of which appeared in the thematic community on the VKontakte social network. Apparently, craftsmen made such a sedan to overcome difficult sections of rough terrain, as they did not have enough money for Kruzak.
The transformed Volga is distinguished by an oversized suspension, large metal sills, extended wheel arches with plastic lining, huge wheel arches in studded rubber and a large kenguryatnik with additional lights and an electric winch. On the roof of the all-terrain sedan is a “chandelier” that illuminates the path of the newly-minted SUV at night. It is interesting that under the hood of such a car a powerful engine should be located, capable of pulling this “colossus” off-road.
