The Netherlands finished in fourth place in the Junior Songfestival. The girl group UNITY came in at 132 points, far below the winner of the evening, France.
The French Valentina won the festival with her song J’imagine, for which she received 200 points. With that she won the eighteenth edition of the song contest. A total of twelve countries participated. Due to the corona crisis, all performances were given in their own country.
Duncan Laurence, who won the Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of the Netherlands last year, also performed. He brought his number Arcade performed again, but this time with a modified version.
The last (and only) time the Netherlands won the Junior Song Contest was in 2009. Then Ralf Mackenbach managed to win with his song Click, Clack.
