Le Nid, Nantes’ emblematic bar at the top of the Tour de Bretagne, has been permanently closed since June 2020, due to the tower’s asbestos removal work. The furniture, signed by the Nantes artist Jean Jullien is dispersed at auction Thursday 4 February. The opportunity for those nostalgic for the perched bar to treat yourself to a little souvenir. Among the most original pieces: the eyes of the great stork that adorned the establishment, estimated between 60 and 80 euros.

The large orange beak, is estimated between 150 and 200 euros. Among the many other pieces: tables and stools in the shape of eggs. It will take between 300 and 600 euros depending on the lots.

The pieces are exhibited Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at the Talma auction room, In Nantes. The auction will take place immediately after 2:00 p.m.
