It has been decided to conduct a filing study on the recent increase in corona virus cases in Küner District of Menderes district of İzmir. While testing was done in front of the muhtarship building, mobile test teams were assigned. The 25-person radiation team carried out PCR tests in the entire neighborhood. As a result of the study, 70 positive cases were detected.
VILLAGE IN THE VILLAGE
On the other hand, it was observed that the seizure of the gendarmerie and police teams continued at the entrance and exit of the neighborhood where the restrictions were applied. The teams, who measured the temperature of the people in the vehicles, allowed those with low body temperatures to enter the neighborhood. While the entrance and exit of the residents of Küner Mahallesi are allowed, those who are not from the neighborhood are not allowed. It is also stated that coffee and barbers in the neighborhood are still closed.

It turned out that one of the people who lost their lives due to the virus in the village, known for having many commercial taxi and passenger van plate holders, was a minibus driver. On the other hand, residents of Küner Mahallesi, who want to be protected from the virus, started to wash the front of their homes with detergent water. The villagers, who took their hoses in their hands, cleaned in front of their houses.
“WHOLESALERS ARE NOT COMING”
Murat Önder, who runs a market in the neighborhood, said, “You see the state of the village, it is terrible. We are even afraid to go out on the street. We take our precautions, the rest is up to Allah. Everything needed was done. Spraying was done, everyone was tested. Those who were found to be sick also do not leave their homes, and some were treated at the hospital. I run a grocery store, none of the wholesalers come to the village. That’s why our work stopped. ”

Nilüfer Küçülü, one of the residents of the neighborhood, said, “We do not leave our homes, we do not go to guests. I sometimes go up the mountain to work, because I have to. The situation in the village is not the same, everyone is anxious and everyone is on the run. This village is usually a minibus and commercial taxi driver. But as it is said, there are not 10 in every household. I’m from here too, we never had a minibus.
