Nikola Jokic became the first player in NBA history to record 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and 500 assists in a single season on Thursday.
The Nuggets star achieved this record in his team’s victory over the Memphis Grizzlies 122-109.
The Serbian center, MVP last season, signed an enormous performance with 35 points (16 of 24 shooting), 16 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals and a block. With this victory, the Nuggets secured a direct spot in the West play-offs without having to go through the play-in.

They are now sixth in the West (48-33), but still have a chance to overtake the Utah Jazz (fifth at 48-32).
Returning to tonight’s game, Desmond Bane (14 points) was the top scorer for a very choral Grizzlies, with many rotations and seven players above 10 points.
