The management of the Nation Buildings and the International Congress Center in Jerusalem requested in a letter to about 200 of its partners, parallel congress centers around the world, to join it in working for the release of the abductees.
“We call on you, our friends and partners from all over the world, and your leaders – it’s time to make a loud and clear voice! Call for the immediate return of the abductees and say no to terrorism! Over 130 innocent citizens want to return to their homes, to their families. It’s time to make a loud and clear voice against terrorism and call for the immediate return of the abductees.”
The large hall in the nation’s buildings was filled with about 3000 balloons alongside photos of the abductees who are still held captive in Gaza. As an act of solidarity, the management of the International Congress Center asks all congress centers in the world to open conferences and events with the new video they produced, to share and distribute the video in their area so that this important message will reach all over the world and be a partner in spreading light and hope to the world.
“It is our moral duty as an international organization to assist in the issue of the return of the abductees and to spread this around the world as much as possible. We as an international congress center, which has many partners around the world, seek to get them to act as a sign of solidarity with us in raising awareness of the situation of the abductees and calling for their immediate release” says Alex Alter MM Director General of the International Congress Center Nainiy Hauma Jerusalem, and concludes, our hearts go out to the families of the abductees who today mark one hundred days since the captivity of their loved ones. This is not understood.”
The ICC Jerusalem International Congress Center in the Nation Buildings in Jerusalem takes part in other international advocacy activities for the return of the abductees, and has also been working for many weeks for national resilience, and holds many events and activities for the evacuees, the soldiers, the members of the security and rescue forces.
As part of the efforts to raise awareness of the situation and the return home of the abductees who have been held captive for a hundred days, the management of the International Congress Center Buildings of the Nation, in collaboration with The Red Balloon, recently produced an informational video as part of the “Red Balloon” campaign in which people from all over the world take pictures with red balloons and say no to terrorism in order to influence Public opinion to act for the release of the abductees in Gaza. In the video, the world stage is seen in the nation’s buildings, where, during its 70 years of existence, the greatest of the nation and the most important and greatest leaders in the world were hosted and spoke about peace, unity and innovation, a call goes out to shout – “return the kidnapped now”.
