Police following up on the KPK’s findings when they searched Dito Mahendra’s house in South Jakarta. The origins of the 15 firearms (senpi) are being investigated by the National Police.
Investigators launched a search KPK on Monday (13/3/2023) at around 19.48 WIB. Dito Mahendra’s house was searched for approximately 6 hours.
Two suitcases were seen being taken by KPK investigators after the search. Unexpectedly, 15 rifles were found in the house Here Mahendra.
Now, the 15 rifles have been received by the National Police after being handed over by the KPK. Karo Penmas Divhumas Polri Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan said that his party would investigate the ownership and purpose of these rifles.
“For the 15 rifles that the KPK has handed over to the National Police, the National Police are currently investigating the origins of the rifles, we will update them later,” Ramadhan told reporters, Monday (20/3).
There’s the Long-Barrel Glock
A total of 15 weapons were of the Glock type and long barrels. There are also S&W and Gimber Micro pistols.
“Five Glock type pistols, one S&W pistol, one Gimber Micro pistol, and 8 long-barreled firearms,” Head of KPK Reporting Unit Ali Fikri at the KPK building, Jalan Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday (17/3).
“Certainly the KPK’s current steps have been coordinating with the National Police regarding the findings of the 15 weapons found at the search site earlier,” he added.
