National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo appreciate Teuku Tegar Abadi, a pole vault athlete who has made the name of the Indonesian nation good both internationally and nationally. Most recently, Tegar got a gold medal in XX National Sports Week (PON) in Papua. For this achievement, Sigit also realized Tegar’s dream to become a member of the Police.
Sigit stated that he would realize the dream of the athlete from Tuban, East Java, to become a police officer. Sigit gave Tegar the opportunity to become a Bhayangkara Corps personnel through a proactive recruitment route.
“Yes, Mas Tegar will be visited by my members to be able to enter the police through the proactive recruitment route. Because the Police really need people who have achievements and of course we are happy if Mas Tegar joins us,” said Sigit conveying directly to Tegar via video call connection, Saturday (11/13/2021).

Tegar was happy when he heard the offer directly from the National Police Chief. He then asked the National Police Chief whether after entering the National Police institution, he could still be given the opportunity to continue training as an athlete.
Responding to the question, Sigit firmly answered. He allowed Tegar to continue to make achievements by continuing to train as an athlete even though he later joined the police force.
“I make sure that Mas Tegar’s activities will continue to be developed. We want Mas Tegar to be a police officer but at the same time he can represent the police as well to bring the name of the institution to the national and international arena. We certainly support that,” said the former Banten Police Chief. .
Sigit also ensured to Tegar that there were no fees associated with the proactive recruitment. Sigit emphasized, all things are free of charge. If later in the recruitment process someone asks for fees, Sigit asks Tegar to immediately report to Propam.

The ex-Kabareskrim emphasized that the recruitment process at the National Police is free without any fees. According to him, ability and achievement is the number one thing to become a law enforcement officer.
“Yes, I’m sorry, sir. Is there an additional fee, isn’t it, sir? The problem is that you usually go to the police to pay or what will you do later?” Tegar asked.
“Wow, that’s a lie. So I make sure that no one pays for entering the police. Everything is free. Later if there is such information, it can be reported to Propam. We will process it later. , have achievements,” answered Sigit affirmed.
Tegar said he wanted to become a police officer because he was inspired by his grandfather. He also wanted to continue the struggle of his grandfather. He is grateful that his dream can now be achieved thanks to the National Police Chief Sigit.

Sigit on that occasion also took the opportunity to congratulate Tegar for breaking the pole vault record. Sigit asked the firm to continue training in preparation for competing in the Sea Games next year.
Sigit also listens to Tegar’s daily stories who help his father in the fields by planting corn and tomatoes. Sigit said that when he officially became a police officer, Tegar was also allowed to continue to help his father in the fields.
“Later, if it becomes a policy, you can still plant tomatoes again,” said Sigit.
At the end of the conversation between the two, Sigit stated that later the proactive recruitment process would be taken care of by his staff. He asked Tegar to keep practicing and maintain his health.
