Jakarta – National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo inaugurated Inspector General Pol. Syahar Diantono as Head of the Profession and Security Division (Kadiv Propam) replaced Inspector General Pol. Ferdy Sambo, who was removed from his position in connection with the case of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J.
“On Monday (8/8) at 16.30 to 16.45 WIB, the inauguration of the position has been carried out Head of Propam Police Inspector General Pol. Syahar Diantono is located at the National Police Headquarters. The inauguration was presided over by Mr Police chief Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo,” said the Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karopenmas) of the National Police Brigadier General Pol. Achmad Ramadhan to reporters in Jakarta, Monday (8/8/2022).
Inspector General of Police. Syahar Diantono previously served as Deputy Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. After being sworn in as the Head of the Propam Police Division, the position of Wakabreskrim was temporarily vacant.
Previously, Thursday (4/8), the National Police Chief issued a special telegram letter TR ST Number 1628/VIII/KEP/2022 dated August 4, 2022, 10 officers were transferred and five were promoted to new positions.
Besides Ferdy Sambo, another officer who was removed from his post was Brigadier General Pol. Hendra Kurniawan was removed from his position as the Head of the Internal Security Bureau (Karo Paminal) of the National Police, he was transferred to Pati Yanma Polri, then Brigadier General Benny Ali was removed from his position as Karo Provost of the Propam Police Div and then transferred to Pati Yanma Polri.
The Head of the National Police Public Relations Division, Inspector General Pol. Dedi Prasetyo said the officer who was transferred as Pamen Yanma Polri was under investigation by the Special Inspectorate of the Special Team (Irsus Timsus) of the National Police.
