The National Police celebrate their employers’ day | Radio Rioja

The La Rioja Higher Police Headquarters today celebrates Police Day on the occasion of the celebration of the Holy Guardian Angels, patrons of the National Police.

This celebration includes only one act that has been chaired by the Government delegate, María Marrodán, and the superior chief of the Police in La Rioja, Jesús Hernanz Torrubia. During the celebration, the different authorities have awarded police merit decorations to members of the National Police and to people who have stood out in their contribution to improving the police image.

Among those awarded, in attention to the merits for their unique and extraordinary performance that have stood out in the National Police, the police merit cross with a white badge has been awarded, the inspector of the drug and organized crime unit (UDYCO), Doña Luisa Rebollo and different members of the Prevention and Reaction Unit (UPR) of the Provincial Citizen Security Brigade such as Inspector Eduardo Villar, as well as a sub-inspector, an officer and fifteen policemen. All of them are part of the five provincial brigades of this Superior Headquarters up to a total of nineteen agents.

And for the decorations to people outside the president of the medical association, Inmaculada Martínez; the magistrate of the court of violence against women, María Astiazarán; the lieutenant colonel chief of the Bhelma III, Sergio Villarcorta; and the commander of the Civil Guard, José Víctor Jiménez.

An “in memoriam” event will also be held for officers who died in the act of duty, and a static formation of the different units will be held, such as the Provincial Citizen Security Brigade (UPR), Explosive Devices Deactivation Unit (TEDAX) , Provincial Brigade of Foreigners and Borders, among others.
