The National Fund conducts a historical study in the Ñuble National Reserve to prevent fiscal ownership – La Discusión

A historical study was conducted by the Ministry of National Treasure in the National Reserve of Ñuble, located in the community of Pinto, together with officials from the National Forestry Corporation (Conaf).

This was announced by the Seremi of the National Fund in Ñuble, Rodrigo Baeza Boyardi, who explained that in the activity, which lasted two days, officers from the Cadastre and Research Units participated.

“This work carried out by our officers was a work that we had planned to do for a long time, but certain climatic conditions were necessary to carry out this work, as instruments such as drone and drone use. Topographical elements were required. Fortunately, this work has been done, which gives us certainty regarding the limits of tax ownership,” said Baeza.

The seremi also pointed out that the example proved that, due to the characteristics of the land, there would be no other occupations in the place, located at a distance of 73 kilometers from Chillán.

“As a Ministry it is our responsibility to manage fiscal property in the best possible way, therefore, this type of activity allows us to identify the land​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ get more recent fiscal. The inspection of state land is a fundamental task of the Ministry of Land, a task delegated by President Gabriel Boric,” said the Seremi.

For his part, the director of Conaf, Juan Salvador Ramírez Nova, highlighted the collaborative work between the two services.

“On this trip, our park rangers and CONAF professionals led the Cadastre and Survey team of the Ministry of National Treasury so that, through a geodetic circular drone flight, more detailed records of the borders of the Protected Area can be achieved. This is part of the ongoing collaborative work between CONAF and the Ministry of National Finance in the Ñuble Region, which allows us to carry out such important tasks as managing these very important areas to our area.”

It should be noted that the Ñuble National Reserve was created on November 24, 1978 by General Decree No. 384 of the Ministry of Agriculture and is part of the Nevados de Chillán – Laguna del Laja Biological Corridor Biosphere Reserve.

It is located 73 kilometers east of the city of Chillán on the N-55 route. In the town of Recinto, access through the Atacalco road (Route N-633) to the Los Cipreses building for a total distance of 15 kilometers. After that, the last 8 kilometers will be done through a detour (Access between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.), which can only be moved by four-wheel drive vehicles, the maximum recommended speed is 30 km/h

Currently, the land ​​of 75,088 hectares corresponds to a Protected Wild Area, administered by the National Forestry Agency, which is involved in the protection of the huemul, an Andean deer that exists the risk of extinction. In addition, a large part of the dominant floral species in the Ñuble Reserve corresponds mainly to oak, beech and ñirre.
