The National Federation of Gold Panning Waste Treatment Plants has called for the adoption of a national day of gold panning to highlight the sector’s successes, discuss its problems and allow exchanges between its members.
The federation proposed, in a press release made public on Sunday and a copy of which reached the AMI, that this day be the day of the creation of the company Meadine Mauritania, stressing that this date indeed represents an important turning point in the process gold panning in the country and has a special meaning and therefore cannot go unnoticed.
The Federation specifies that this day is an opportunity to pay tribute to the respect by the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani of his commitment to organize this vital area which has represented and which still represents a destination for thousands of young Mauritanians, emphasizing that this respect for the commitment continues through the granting of numerous achievements to gold washers, the opening up of more areas in front of them and the opportunities offered to investors in the sector, noting that the commitment is beginning to give its fruits in a concrete way.
The federation has also considered that this day will be an opportunity to assess the performance of the company and highlight its great successes achieved in a very short period of time.
The Federation congratulated the President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Gghazouani and the General Manager of the Meadine Mauritania Company for the success recorded in this area, specifying the production stage allowed during the first half of the year. in progress a production of 800 kg of gold.
