The decision was eagerly awaited … The National Cinematographic Development Commission (CNACi), meeting in Paris, gave an unfavorable opinion, this Friday, to the cinema complex project on the site of the Neyrpic industrial wastelands in the town of Saint-Martin-d’Hères. Entered by the operator UGC and the investor Apsys, it follows the decision taken on February 12 by the Departmental Commission which brought together, in addition to three experts, the City of Saint-Martin-d’Hères but also the City of Grenoble, the Scot, the Department as well as the Metropolis.
The cinema complex, as desired by UGC, Apsys and the municipality of Martinique, had twelve theaters spread over three levels for a capacity of 2300 seats in the future center of life, shops and leisure (desired by the investor Apsys) overlooking a section of avenue Gabriel-Péri.
