The National Choir of Argentine Music commemorates the composer Julián Aguirre

The next Saturday, August 3 at 4 p.m.he National Choir of Argentine Music will offer a concert in the Sarmiento Historical Museum (Cuba 2079, CABA), in tribute to the renowned Argentine composer Julian Aguirreon the centenary of his death.

Under the direction of the teacher Armando Angel Garridoas guest conductor, and the accompaniment of the pianist Hae Yeon Kimthe choral group will perform works by Julian Aguirre and compositions of Carlos Guastavino y Alberto Williams: two other essential figures in the development of choral music in Argentina.

Composers of this period incorporated a wide variety of genres into Argentine music: opera, symphonic poems and symphonies, concerts, suites, overtures, works for solo instruments, duets, trios, quartets or quintets, as well as choral and chamber music.

He National Choir of Argentine Music It is an organism dependent on the National Directorate of Stable Casts of the Culture Secretariat of the Ministry of Human Capital.
