On Friday, Aftenposten was able to report on the warning case that has caused unrest at the National Ballet. Investigations revealed the use of illegal drugs among some of the company’s dancers. It has happened in private, social contexts.
Ballet director Ingrid Lorentzen said she has zero tolerance for illegal drugs among her employees. She confirmed that the case led to “changes” at the National Ballet, which is part of the Opera. She will not say what changes: whether someone has been fired, released from contracts or lost roles.
