The National Assembly discusses texts on medical examination and treatment and cinematography

The deputies of the XVe National Assembly discussed Wednesday morning May 25 in a group the additional assessment of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in 2021 and during the first months of 2022.

The report on the additional assessment of the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in 2021 and during the first months of 2022 was presented by Deputy Prime Minister Lê Van Thành in opening of the 3e session of the XVe National Assembly.

MEPs must also approve the closing of the accounts of the State budget and look into the practice of saving and the fight against waste in 2021, the assessment of the implementation of Resolution No. 42/2017 /QH14 of the XIVe National Assembly, dated June 21, 2017, relating to the management of the settlement of doubtful debts of credit institutions and the extension of the deadline for application of all the provisions of this resolution.

In the afternoon, the National Assembly will listen to the report of the Minister of Health, Nguyên Thanh Long, on the bill on medical examination and treatment (amended) and an audit report on this bill. presented by the President of the Social Affairs Commission of the National Assembly Nguyên Thuy Anh.

The drafting of the Bill aims to address the shortcomings and limitations of the Medical Examination and Treatment Act 2009 and address emerging issues in developing and improving the quality of health services. The bill consists of ten chapters and 102 articles, one chapter more than the current one.

The Chairman of the Culture and Education Commission of the National Assembly, Nguyên Dac Vinh, will present a report explaining, justifying and adjusting the Cinematography Bill (amended) during the session after -midday.

The deputies will also discuss as a group certain contents certain contents of the bill on which opinions still diverge.
