José Meza and Simón Bolívar from Paraguay will take part in the 42nd edition of the South American Indoor Soccer Club Championship, South Zone, to be held in São Paulo, Brazil, from April 4 to 8.
Both José Meza and Simón Bolívar will seek to dethrone the current champion Fomento de Barrio Obrero, winner of the 2019 edition, which was played in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. While Bolívar’s team will go for its first title; Ñembyense José Meza will seek to reissue the title won in 2010, in Cerro Largo, Uruguay.
The eight best teams in the South Zone of South America will face each other: José Meza and Simón Bolívar, Colorado Futsal and Real Celeste, from Brazil; Don Orione and Cementista, from Argentina; Jave, from Uruguay and Deportivo Amazing, from Chile. The winner of the South Zone will dispute the 2022 absolute title with the winner of the North Zone, which will take place in Colombia.
